Richard Knapp is an American Photographer, working out of Los Angeles and New York, specializing in portraiture, reportage, and entertainment photography.

Advertising/ Entertainment clients include A + E, History Channel, Lifetime, NBC, NFL Network, Citibank, HBO, Showtime, FYI, Publicis•Kaplan•Thaler Group, & …and co.

Richard’s imagery has been selected for American Photography 31.  He also was the official portrait photographer for the “14 Days Project”, a series in which 100 people a day were shot spanning cities across the United States and Great Britain for 2 weeks each capturing over 2800 portraits.  

Personal projects Richard currently is working on include a piece on memories where his 101 year old grandfather is the subject, a reportage and portrait study of Americana’s range of subcultures from rodeos in Utah to Native American reservations in New Mexico to car track racing in Ventura, CA.
